About Me
First Act
I was born in a well-worn, century-old house at the edge of a small Northern California town. I spent my childhood reading books and studying ballet. My passion for dance led me to UC Santa Cruz and a BA in Theatre Arts, emphasizing in Modern Dance, where I studied and eventually danced under the mentorship of visionary Mel Wong. Though I was designing the company’s programs and posters and directing student dance productions, I was oblivious to the fact that I could do such things professionally. Eventually I discovered the world of graphic arts and returned to school, diving headfirst into the craft of Graphic Design.
Second Act
For over 15 years, I have had the privilege of designing and directing for three world-class brands — KT, Bell, and Nordic Naturals — while maintaining some freelance work on the side. I am a strategic, process-driven creative leader with a meticulous eye for detail. I thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment where all perspectives are heard and valued. I am a clear communicator, a problem-solver, and I love puzzles. When I am not working, I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, SCUBA diving, and food.
